The
National Day of Prayer Task Force's mission is to communicate with
every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer,
mobilizing the Christian community to intercede for America and its
leadership in the five centers of power: Church, Education, Family,
Government and Media.
"I do not pray for these
alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word;
that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You;
that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You
sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that
they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that
they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that
You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me."
John 17:20-23 NKJV

2 Chron 7:13-16
When I shut up heaven and
there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land,
or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are
called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My
face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from
heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. Now
My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in
this place. NKJV
Additional Scriptures on Unity in the City
(all NKJV)
Psalms 133
133:1 Blessed Unity of the People of God
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious oil upon the
head, Running down on the beard,
The beard of Aaron, Running down on the
edge of his garments.
3 It is like the dew of Hermon,
Descending upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing
— Life forevermore.

John 17:20-26
20 Jesus Prays for All Believers
"I do not pray for these alone, but also
for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that
they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You;
that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe
that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have
given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in
them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and
that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved
them as You have loved Me.
24 "Father, I desire that they also whom
You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My
glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the
foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The
world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have
known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them
Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You
loved Me may be in them, and I in them."

Phil 2:1-4
Therefore if there is any consolation in
Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the
Spirit, if any affection and mercy, 2 fulfill my joy by being
like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one
mind. 3 Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or
conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others
better than himself. 4 Let each of you look out not only for
his own interests, but also for the interests of others.

9 Preeminence of Christ
For this reason we also, since the day we
heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that
you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom
and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of
the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good
work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened
with all might, according to His glorious power, for all
patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the
Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance
of the saints in the light. 13 He has delivered us from the
power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son
of His love, 14 in whom we have redemption through His blood,
the forgiveness of sins.

1 Thess 5:16-18
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray without
