It was seven years ago that the pain and turmoil of burnout caught up with me, launching my family, myself, and our church family on a life-changing journey. A major part of that journey was the discovery of a book called The Emotionally Healthy Church. In that book, I began to sense that the author, Pete Scazzero, was writing my story.

The premise of Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is that you cannot separate your emotional health from your spiritual maturity. In other words, you cannot be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature.

At face value, most Christians agree with this premise. However, when rubber meets the road of our lives, it's often a different story. We end up relating to one another in ways that we think are spiritually mature, but in truth are emotionally Immature.

Thus, I began the journey of discipleship in my emotions, learning what the Holy Spirit needed to do in me that my emotional and spiritual maturity would BOTH grow. I had to come to terms with the fact that areas of my life where I thought I was spiritually mature were not, because of my stunted emotional maturity.

   2) That each person would be committed to the body of Christ.

   3) That each person would be committed to the work of Christ in the world.

We believe that God has the answers to every human need.  We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ is the only way to find purpose, and meaning in life.  Therefore we are committed to pointing all people to Jesus Christ.

Our worship service, Life Groups, small groups, youth and children’s ministries, men’s and women’s ministries, are part of many opportunities for you and your family to become involved.
