A Change Will Do You Good

Who said that? "A change will do you good?" Most of us cringe at the concept and wince upon hearing the word ... CHANGE! But change we must, for if we don't, we die.

God knew it. That's one reason He instituted the Sabbath. Six days for work, one day we STOP and REST. We're learning much about what the Sabbath entails in our current series.

Make no mistake! To institute the Sabbath into your life, whatever day of the week, however you choose to practice it, is (in my humble opinion) to invite havoc into your life! It's change, and it's a change that grinds against the nature of our culture.

We live in a 24/7/365 world

These topics are meant to be used as a general guide for this year’s Simi Valley National Day of Prayer 2009. Each team of pastors will lead the gathering as the Lord leads them. After the NDOP, this guide can be used by small groups at your church and by every household as the parents lead the family in prayer at home.  May God Bless our land as His people, humble themselves and pray! (2 Chron. 7:14)

"I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.  John 17:20-22  NKJV
